Assessment of environmental requirements in the CAP Strategic Plans

Ecorys led the consortium responsible for assisting the European Commission with essential environmental expertise in evaluating these Common Agricultural Policy Strategic Plans (CAP SPs).

The assessment comprised an ex-ante analysis of CAP implementation (2014–2020), an evaluation of needs and challenges related to environmental objectives, and a review of the 27 Member States’ draft CAP Strategic Plans. Through detailed management and administrative support, Ecorys played a key role in ensuring a comprehensive analysis and strengthening environmental considerations within CAP Strategic Plans.
