Eswatini Prime Minister officially launched the Eswatini Trade Information Portal (ETIP) on September 30th
ETIP establishes a single-point repository in which all trade-related content can be easily accessed by the business community.
Through its support to improving transparency around trade procedures, ETIP facilitates increased levels of compliance and concomitant reductions in the cost of doing business for trade. Its official launch represents the culmination of efforts by the Ecorys-led consortium to IFC/WBG-funded support.
The Project commenced in February 2020, not long before the onset of the COVID-19 global pandemic and ensuing challenges relating to international travel restrictions and local lockdown measures. Nevertheless, our highly dedicated team pivoted the Project to implement alternate ways of remote working, enabling us to maintain the strong levels of engagement with Government Agencies required to bring the Project to a successful and timely conclusion.
