Ecorys Investigates Innovation Opportunities for the National Road Traffic Database

Ecorys recently prepared a cost-benefit analysis of the National Road Traffic Database (NDW).

In this, the business economic, social costs and benefits of the NDW have been mapped. One of the (social) benefits relates to innovation. However, properly mapping the impact of this is a study in itself. The NDW has therefore asked Ecorys to map the innovation opportunities and their potential social impact separately.

The research is conducted to gain insight into the most important and most valuable innovative developments for the NDW and its partners (road authorities, but also commercial parties), what the added value of the NDW is and the social benefits this brings. The insights that follow from this can then help the NDW with its long-term planning.
