Ecorys will conduct a Mid-Term Review of the "Addressing Root Causes" programme for the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs

Ecorys will conduct for the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs a Mid-Term Review (MTR) of the “Addressing Root Causes” (ARC) programme. The MTR has as its objective to review whether the programme is running effectively and whether the special elements of the ARC programme’s design are functioning as intended. The MTR will provide evidence-based recommendations to the Ministry on the short- and long-term adjustments to the programme’s design.

The ARC programme has a duration of five years (2016-2021) and supports local organizations to improve Human Security, Rule of Law, Peace Processes and Political Governance and Socio and Economic Reconstruction for people in fragile and conflict-affected settings. The programme initially targeted 12 countries, namely Afghanistan, Burundi, Democratic Republic of Congo, Ethiopia, Jordan, Lebanon, Mali, Pakistan, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan and Syria.

Ecorys will conduct the MTR from 2 January to 31 March 2020. Fieldwork will be conducted for Afghanistan, Jordan and Mali.
