Manon Janssen talks about hydrogen and the power of connection at Expo 2020 Dubai

The EU held its Energy Day in the Netherlands Pavillion of the Expo 2020 Dubai on 14 November. The event acts as a meeting place for European institutions and innovative cleantech companies to share their breakthrough technologies, clean energy solutions and their upcoming initiatives. Our CEO Manon Janssen, also Chair of the Dutch Top Sector Energy, was there to talk about hydrogen and the power of connection.

In the European Green Deal, all EU Member States committed to turning the EU into the first climate-neutral continent by 2050. To get there, Europe is currently in the process of transforming its energy system, which accounts for 75% of the EU’s greenhouse gas emissions. The Green Deal includes several policies and technologies that contribute to the twin goal of having a cleaner planet and a stronger economy, among which hydrogen. It was therefore one of the key topics at the EU Energy Day. Our CEO Manon Janssen contributed to the discussion by talking about hydrogen and the power of connection.
