Ecorys UK announces new charity partnership with Home-Start UK 

Ecorys UK is delighted to announce our new charity partnership with Home-Start UK. This partnership underlines our commitment to supporting communities and making a tangible difference in the lives of families and children across the UK. 

Our staff have selected Home-Start UK as Ecorys UK’s new charity partner for the next two years. This reflects our commitment to giving back to communities and supporting organisations that make a real difference in the lives of families and children across the UK. We are committed to donating 1% of our net profits to our charity partner each year and enabling our staff to use their annual volunteering allowance to use their skills and talents to support Home-Start UK’s objectives.  

Nicki Smith, Ecorys UK’s Managing Director, shares her thoughts on this new partnership, “We are really excited to be embarking on a new two-year relationship with our charity partner, Home-Start UK. In addition to donating a share of our profits for the next two years, we are really excited to collaborate to enhance their critical work with families with the unique skills and expertise we, as Ecorys UK, can offer.”

Home-Start UK is a family support charity dedicated to assisting families with young children in navigating life’s challenges. Their approach is rooted in compassion, offering confidential help and expert support tailored to each family’s unique circumstances. By providing practical assistance and emotional support, Home-Start UK volunteers visit the family in their own home every week, for as long as they need, and support parents to not only cope but also to thrive and build their confidence. 

Home-Start UK is reaching over 78,900 children and 44,000 families nationwide. They work tirelessly to support families, addressing issues such as isolation, bereavement, illness, mental health challenges, and financial insecurity. Through their efforts, they aim to ensure that every child can grow up in a stable, loving, and nurturing environment, setting the foundation for a successful and fulfilling future.
