Migration and asylum

The European Union faces the dual challenge of addressing its humanitarian responsibilities and managing the complexities of varied, diverse and dynamic influxes of migrant groups, which have become a central issue in political discourse. Ecorys supports decision makers at the EU level and within individual Member States in the evidence-based policymaking by conducting research studies, evaluations and impact assessments related to current and future migration trends, international protection and migration policies. We recognise that migration trends and patterns are inherently influenced by gender and age dynamics, and we pay close attention to the diversity of migrant groups and their experiences. Through our work we aim at contributing to the well thought-out migration policies that offer the optimal outcomes for both immigrants and the communities they settle into.
