With nearly 50 million people living in European coastal zones and 4.5 million people employed in blue economy sectors, the Integrated Marine Policy plays a critical role in addressing  the problems affecting oceans and seas. Ecorys supports the European Commission by evaluating policies and impact assessments on the current state of water bodies. Our services extend to providing Member States with strategic recommendations for holistic solutions aimed at ensuring compliance with regulations and fostering sustainable management practices in marine, coastal and river basin environments.
