Ecorys supports OIC member countries in improving appraisal of transport projects

On 21 March 2019, Ecorys presented the results of the large-scale benchmark study on Appraisal of transport projects for an audience in Ankara, consisting of representatives of 22 Member States and representatives of the IDB Group, Limak Group, SESRIC and COMCEC Coordination Office.

The study, carried out together with CSIL from Italy and commissioned by the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), has resulted in a conceptual framework. This framework consists of technical and institutional elements, as well as findings from the OIC countries, amongst others through case studies in Afghanistan, Iran, Jordan, Mozambique, Nigeria and Saudi Arabia. Conclusions and recommendations were reported to a large audience, consisting of representatives from the OIC countries in Ankara. Click here to read the study results.
