| Economic growth, Public Sector Reform

In June Alan Duggan, Senior Consultant from the International Development Unit at Ecorys, was invited to meet His Majesty King Letsie III of Lesotho during his State Visit to the Netherlands.

The event organised by the Honorary Consulate of the Kingdom of Lesotho in the Netherlands was an opportunity for Dutch businesses to “Meet and Greet” with counterparts from Lesotho to stimulate trade and investment in the “Mountain Kingdom”.

Alan had the opportunity to discuss with the King Ecorys’ long track record of delivering consulting services to the government of Lesotho, which includes support to the Ministry of Finance in the areas of Economic Planning and budgeting under the EU funded “Capacity Building in Economic Planning (CBEP) project, supporting the establishment of the Lesotho Revenue Authority (LRA) and supporting the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security to develop and implement the countries current food security strategy and action plan under DFID’s 3.9mGBP “Poverty Reduction Strategy Priority Support Programme”.
