20 December 2007 - PRESS RELEASE Marten van den Bossche new chairman of the ECORYS Netherlands Board of Directors; Max van der Sleen new chairman of the ECORYS Group Board of Management. Marten van den Bossche has been appointed chairman of the ECORYS Netherlands Board of Directors as of 1st January 2008. He succeeds Max van der Sleen, who will become chairman of the ECORYS Group Board of Management on the same date. Marten van den Bossche will also be a member of the ECORYS Group Board of Management. Max van der Sleen (54) has been with the Netherlands Economic Institute and ECORYS since 1981. In 1999, he was appointed Manager of the Macro & Sector Policies Division. In 2001, he was appointed as member of the ECORYS Netherlands Board of Directors and in July of the same year he was appointed chairman of the Board of Directors. In January 2005, he was made a member of the ECORYS Group Board of Management. As chairman of the Board of Managers of the ECORYS Group, Max van der Sleen will succeed Hugh Williams, who is retiring. Marten van den Bossche (47) has been with Netherlands Economic Institute and ECORYS since 1989 and has held various positions within the company (see overview). He has a degree in Economics from Rotterdam Erasmus University. In addition to his new role as chairman of the Board of Directors, Marten will continue to be actively involved in transport and regional economics related projects.
