11 March 2010 - ECORYS recently became a member of the NUSEP platform, which connects Dutch and Ukrainian companies and governmental bodies through assistance in implementation of joint projects and fostering trade in the field of sustainable energy.

The members of the platform are organizations in the Netherlands and Ukraine active in the sphere of sustainable energy such as renewable energy and energy efficiency. The objectives of the platform are to represent collective interests of its members and take active part in the dialog with governmental organizations of both countries. The platform is planning to establish cooperation with branch associations and public organizations of both countries.

The directions of activities of the platform are determined collectively by its members in charge of three elected managers, taking into account proposals of its themes. In particular the platform will focus on the following directions:

• Market research of the sustainable energy application issues
• Trade missions in both directions
• Participation in exhibitions and seminars
• Assistance in networking and interests lobbying of platform participants
• Promotion of Dutch technologies in Ukraine
• Stimulation of cooperation between individual members
• Project development
• Assistance in receiving financing and subsidies
• Assistance in government relations in the Netherlands and Ukraine
