02 November 2007 - PRESS RELEASE - Dr. Geert Jan Klein Bluemink has been appointed managing partner and Director Real Estate practice and business development of ECORYS Netherlands as of 1 November 2007. He will especially strengthen the international operations of ECORYS’ Real Estate activities. Additionally, he will support the strengthening, professionalisation and commercialisation of ECORYS by interlinking the portfolios of the ECORYS Group where necessary and feasible. This implies a cross-practice and cross-border approach.

The last four years he managed the Real Estate and Facilities Management portfolio for KPN. Prior to that, he held international (board) management functions, amongst others as country manager in the Czech Republic. He is widely experienced in managing multicultural business settings and has a track record as negotiator and successful turn-around manager in acquisitions, mergers, participations, outsourcing contracts and political lobby. Geert Jan holds degrees in International Relations and International Law (Leiden University, the Netherlands), and has attended management and industry business courses at INSEAD and IMD.
