There are several different forms of evaluation: ex-anta evaluations, interim evaluations, ex-post evaluations, impact studies and specific spin-off studies. In general evaluations have two goals: learning from past experience and justifying (expected) results and expenditures to stakeholders. The emphasis can vary for each type of evaluation. Ex-anta evaluations are mainly focussed on adjusting execution, while ex-post evaluations are more about learning and justifying.

The validity of our analysis and the reliability of our findings lead to well founded conclusions and specific, useful recommendations. These aspects of the quality of our work go hand in hand with attention for the interests of parties involved: policymakers, executors and target groups. The results of our work are always thoroughly and interactively discussed. This way we keep track of the interests of the organisations, who want to have their goals met as efficiently as possible. We continue with our activities until the real effects of policy and/or activities are clear and we find the means necessary to reach set targets.
