Legal advisory services for real estate PDF Print E-mail

Provision of the physical conditions for economic and social wellbeing requires coordinated actions by public and private actors within a legal code. Green field developments and inner city renewal require decisions concerning changes of land use, acquisition or sale of property and, increasingly, partnership arrangements. Stakeholders are obliged to respect often complex and interacting sets of laws and regulations which protect public and private interests, the cultural and natural environments and follow due process. Errors in contracts and procedures can lead to costly problems of liability. Few partners in this process can internalise the legal knowledge needed for long term success.

Expertise

Areas of work

We can provide a combination of expertise designed to respond to the legal needs of our clients. We offer advice and draft contracts for demanding forms of multi-partner cooperation such as public/private partnerships. Our approach is innovatory and anticipatory of future trends and circumstances. For us, precedence is a guide not a controlling factor. We acknowledge and understand the dynamics of the real estate sector. We can also mobilise “in-house” resources to support clients in other aspects of the development process whether it concerns land use planning, finance, or communication services. This unique combination makes it possible for us to provide clients with a very cost effective service.

  • Contract development for all stages of the development process and exploitation
  • Support in devising and drafting public regulation with respect to real estate and land use
    organisation and structuring of PPPs
  • Support with (European) public tendering and procurement
  • Recovering of costs of public investments
