8 June 2009 - Chris Ralph has been appointed as the next Chair of ECOTEC Research and Consulting Limited and as a member of the ECORYS Board of Management.

The appointment was confirmed at the ECORYS Annual General Meeting on 20 May in Rotterdam and Chris will formally begin his new role on 1 July 2009.

"I am clearly looking forward to the challenge of this exciting and new role” said Chris. “In particular I look forward to working with the excellent talent within the company to secure its continued growth and enhance its already strong reputation as a provider of public policy consulting, programme management and research support. Central to this will be further consolidation of our position in the UK market, developing our work for the European Commission and expanding into new international markets.”

With nine years at ECOTEC behind him, across a variety of positions including his current role as Managing Director of the Research and Economic Development Division, Chris’s wealth of experience make him the right person to lead the company’s continued growth.
