16 June 2008 -  ECORYS Nederland and ECORYS South East Europe, in cooperation with T.M.C. Asser Institute, are currently working on a capacity building project in Bulgaria related to the EU financial instruments. The project provides technical assistance to the Bulgarian Government in the fields of EU policy in Transport, Environment, Public Private Partnership (PPP), Justice and Home Affairs and Agriculture and Fisheries. A series of training sessions will take place.

The project, which is financed by the Dutch government, will result in an strengthened capacity  of the Bulgarian Government in the field of EU policy implementation. In addition, the project facilitates exchange of experience between the Dutch and Bulgarian government by linking civil servants from both countries. The sustainability of the project results will be guaranteed by training of trainers in the fields covered by the project and by providing the opportunity to continue the relationships built during the project between civil servants of both countries. The project runs from June 2008 till May 2009.
